Tyres Northampton will be there - they will change wheels etc.. for you, and of course try to sell you some nice new alloys, tyres, brakes , blah, blah...
Craig/ Ian.
Bit early to start trotting out the racing driver book of excuses isn't it?

LOL.
We are REALLY looking forward to saturday - this will be our first REAL track visit with the XTR2(bruntingthorpe doesn't really count).
We should get the car back later this evening as its had a bit of pampering over the last few days (i.e. new Nitron NTX coilovers complete with Ebach Formula 3 main springs and helper springs). Geometry setup, cornerweighting and bump reduction has also taken place. The car is going to seem totally different now after our poor attempt at the initial setup. We went to visit the car last night and all is looking good.
Craig was rubbing himself against a 1994 Cosworth 10pot F1 engine last night - I had to peel him off the engine before he started to have strange thoughts about sticking it in the westi. Mind you with a 25K-50K rebuilt cost every 800 miles I don't think we could really afford it (already sold one kidney).
Its going to be a bit of a learning day - I've driven RWD before in the form of cateringvan superlites and even a formula palmer audi - but our car is different - for me its not just the cost - its the 17 weekends we spent building the bugger too.
only 1 day to go - whoohoo !!!

ahhh bollox, i shouldnt listen to Ian
The HB was a V8 too.
It was the ZetecR that was a V10.
So you were fondling a HB if it was a 94 engine. The same engine that gave shuey his first F1 championship.
