The house we are buying is still available, luckily, same price too!

The guy did have a solicitor, he was just erm, thick, and very slow to reply to any letters etc.

I think he lied about he salary, and when he finally sent some bank statements, they twigged it. It was a case of one step forward, two back.

Hi Nicci,

We may be moving next friday, But don't hold your breath.

I am pretty cool about it, it has been going on soooo long I have kind of forgot about it.

When you see my car in the driveway, feel free to pop in for a drink.

We know exactly how you feel Dave, because our buyers' solicitor wouldn't exchange on a certain date, our vendors started to threaten to pull out!!
We are all moved in now - the move itself went very smoothly. Good luck and fingers crossed

The housing market's pretty much stopped over here, a year ago it was 'sell the place within a week for the asking price or better', now people are not paying asking price. We had 6 agents value our flat to sell it, lowest £180k, highest £218k ! Was on market for £210k, but we took it down to £195k yesterday At least we have a mortgage facility that'll allow us to buy the place we want if we only get £180k for ours

"but hopefully i will have a nice house"- in Northampton LOL.

Nice house in Kettering maybe or perhaps Rushden? Lovely places really out of the top drawer-LOL. A nice meal at Billing Mill with all the other people of that type who go there- lovely. Then back to the nice house with the low ceilings and drive on some estate.ROFLMAO

Thank you for your kind words of support Fluffer. Unfortunately, you may be disappointed. I have over 50% equity in my house, so we would have to have a considerable drop in the economy for that to happen.

why bother? Just ignore me- It would be my pleasure to ignore you if you didn't keep posting off topic on threads I've initiated.

edited to add: I guess the truth hurts-LOL

further edited to add: something I said must really have gotten under your skin for you to actually bother like this- I really couldn't care less about you and your posts- lets just keep our posting nice n friendly or not bother.

OK, I'll call a truce.

But the truth does really hurt me, I mean really deeply, I am going to be on the street in 6 months, and the beer I like is in fact crap.

Happy posting.
