Perhaps the presenter of the radio version of the show should present it, the Radio show has been going since 1973 and is known as the 'News Quiz' it is the funnier/ more intellegent version.

Mycroft - good call (Simon H) but that would leave the News Quiz without a presenter. 
BTW, anyone see the Daily Mail today? They had a line-up of all the potential hosts, including Andrew Marr. Clearly they didn't read yesterday's Evening Standard in which he specifically stated that he wasn't interested in the post and so should be ruled out.

i heard on the radio Paul Merton will take over AD's job, but don't know who would replace him.
