<dodgy designer statement from Top Gear mode on>
Can't you see the similarity between the styling of the 928 window and the window of the Audi ?

View the indivdual detail not as a whole MP - again another dodgy statement taken from Top Gear LOL

My childhood dream of a Ferrari 512BB or DeTamaso Pantera. For modern sculpture on wheels - perhaps a TVR Tuscan S or Aston Martin Vanquish.

My vote would have to go with Brun's, the Ford RS200!
Ford had basically done the same with this car as they did with the GT40, it was gonna dominate, and then they banned all Group B cars:
BTW does anyone else remember the one off rally prototype of the early 70's, the Ford GT70??

Grannies doing donuts was the best thing i've seen in ages. TG is just unmissable in it's new format IMO.

F40 for me BTW.

Cool

STi wanna Subaru, the 250 GT SWB was a far better looking car than that, IMO. but neither even comes close to a JWA/Gulf Porsche 917K

As for the greatest Briton, a publicity hungry, self-serving, woman of limited intelligence, who married money. Or,the builder of God's Wonderful Railway No contest

Best Brit: No way Diana how did she change my life? Maybe influenced a few more people to wear seat belts in the back.
Churchill - respect, but can't help feeling if there wasn't a war on he'd be in the same basket as the rest of 'em.
Brunel - this bloke did virtually everything off his own back, didn't need a war to bring out his best and must have had ***** the size of melons (so to speak) - being a civil engineer myself, I know.
Best Car: bit like fave film - too many to say!! If pushed would have to be an Aston of some kind.

Love it for all its faults. Most pleasing car to my eyes.......Reliant Scimitar. Claret coloured with 3.0 engine, stainless exhaust and manifolds. Loved the fact you can switch one spotlight on at a time - how cool!

I'd say the wedges were more pleasing to the ears than the eyes. Still want one when i ditch the baby seat

Best car? Ford GT 40. I had a ride in one, le mans spec, at age 11 on the M4. Thank you, Mr Bailey, made my young life V8, wire wheels and aliuminium seats. And the noise at 160mph!

Best affordable car? 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air.

Colin.
