Bug Eyes now going for 12K ??

I have seen a MY01 (april) 5dr WRX 20K with FSSH,WR-Blue,18 month waurantee left, UK car(non-import) from a CAR Supermarket for £14,799. You are also allowed to test drive.
Not the cheapest car ever, but this is before MY03 is released.
Knock a grand off when the new model comes out and I'd bite their hand off.

Just bought a bug-eye version......and think that it is great. Much more rounded than the older one and not that much slower. Bug eyes being replaced this wek by Morretes so do not see that they are such a big issue as many make out.
As for the car being slow, sorry but I cannot see that 0-60 in 5.7 to 6.3 (depending on what mag you read) and 30-70 in 5.6 to 6.1 being slow.
I suppose it all depends on what you use the car for - I do 30k miles p.a. on all sorts of roads and it is a great allrounder for fun as well as relaxed long driving.
Interior is hugely better than old version and, as Evo say, "stunnigly capable". One of the other mags (may be What Car) says "vastly improved in all areas apart from the looks".

vel boy WRITES:
>> enough said <<
I say .. far from it .... Why? That 12k bug eye MAY become a reality ... Read on:
With the possible exception of some really unusually desirable cars (Subarus are merely desirable) there's always a world of difference between Asking/Screen prices and what the cars finally change hands for. Dealer used car prices always allow a wide margin for your part exchanges. Time and again I've seen buyers delighted with the "high" part exchange allowance on their old cars deliberately ignoring that the price of the car they're buying is well over-priced. Why do so few fail to appreciate that? apparently many want to continue paying over the odds for their cars in the UK. Go ahead - get sucked in by all this high residuals malarkey - simply means you've probably paid too much in the first place.
Proof in pudding and all that - anyone actually seen a 12k Bugeye anywhere?

Saw a Silver WRX 4DR sell at BCA Blackbushe today.
Dec 2001. 9,000 miles.
No history, No log book (finance repossesion).
The dealers were all over it.
Finally sold for £16150.
