Funnily enough I'm from Glasgow (not mental, just too trusting) and so was my ex'-lying-cheating-mental-karatekickinginstructorboyfriend-'girlfriend.
Coincidence, or a match made in hell? .......answers on a postcard please.
PS i'm not bitter, but if I see any of them I'll run them over repeatly with a steam roller then pour vinegar on their wounds.

Alternatively, my mate is ex-army, 6ft 2in, 17 stone of muscle, been charged in GBH against his own army sergeant. Might also add, he sorted out the Bruce Lee impersonator in a mere 5 minutes. I then made an origami hat to finish him off.

How to find them? well, that's the hard part. I'm not revealling my secrets But being a shark might help

I think the first thing that has to be done is that you (and this is not being aimed squarley at you Paul, but all chaps looking for a lovely lady, ok) have to work out what you want, if you don't know that, then you need to wait until you do. Do you want a quick fling, or something more serious? If you want a fling then fine, if you want something more serious then it requires more in-depth thought as to what you would want out of a relationship, plus you also have to think about what the other person wants, it's not just all about you.
Once you know what you want, then go and find that special lady. Where? ooh, now that is tricky. The classics are Pub, Club, Supermarket, Gym, Fitness Center. Other places in todays world of advanced technolocgy, are the Internet. Yes, I know, I know, you can never be sure that the "lovely lithe, 21 year old, lucy" is actually "fat, balding, Kevin 32". So there is risk. Much as I'd like to say that everyone on internet chat rooms and dating sites are honest, some are not, tis human nature, and the net is totally faceless, how do you really know the pics of the girl are really her?
As you can probably tell, I'd prob do the internet thing, why? well, I'm not particularly social, and find it hard to interact with girls, hey, I'm being honest (and that is something you have to be as well!). If you want some good internet dating sites I can provide details, and I'm not talking about dodgy ones, these are nice ones who do check out their memebers (oo-er! ).
So, you now know what you want, and where to look. So go for it!

Must say that the Scotish and Irish accents are lovely (especially the irish accent), and for a southern fairy like me, they make a nice change from the plummy 'typical brit in yank film' type accent that a) I kinda have (not that posh guvner! ) b) I hear most of the time.
So, put it about a bit, in a nice clean and pleasant way, see what you get.
Oh, and I am NOT a relationship expert, just some chap who knows that finding a nice girl is not easy, but when you do it's magic, and I want to try and help out others with any advice I can give, however limited and rose-tinted it might be (I am a bloke after all) Call me a poof if you want cos I can partly understand the working of the female mind, but it does help. Oh and I am NOT gay, despite the comments made on the IOW trip!

Nice girls are VERY hard to find.
I used to go out with one and was gutted when she turned into the bitch queen from hell by dumping by citing the reason " I've seen a future vision of my life and you arnt part of it" Dark eh?
Now I dont bother going on the pull. One of my mates, a swedish guy called Bo once said to me "If women want you, they'll come to you. If they dont, fu(k em!" Metaphoricaly speaking of course. But what he said was true. when you really come down to it can you name one women who has slept with you after you had chased them. If you can you'll be in the minority. That why, when I go out, have a great time and dance like no-ones watching. If an attractive female member of the opposite sex likes what she sees then she knows where I am. If not I'll carry on having a good time and feeling happy at the end of the night cos I've enjoyed myself, not feeling **** cos I didnt pull.

interesting point there AB, and well, it's true, these days girls seem to be more forward and will come up to YOU! which I think is rather cool, and makes a nice change. Gives you one hell of a confidence boost too, kinda akin to our flute playing friend in American Pie using our pie ******* friend. Never been in that siutation but a girl using a guy for sex is interesting role reversal, and being honest, an intriguing and not alltogether unpleasant thing, at least you won't have to sneak out of your own place she will!
Oh, I'm not single, and I did use some of my own advice to find my partner. I will NOT go into details, I'm a pretty private guy. Trust me there ARE nice girls out there, you CAN find them. Is it easy? NO! Worth it? In my experience, HELL YEAH! Sometimes you have to take the odd risk, sometimes it pays off sometimes not.
Oh, other places ot find ladies...
Try your freinds, both male and female, but mainly female. You know what female intuition is like, and thus if a girl has a friend and she thinks you might be compatible, give it a go. And remember, watch out for the quiet ones!

Innit, its even better when you go out with that outlook and not try to pull.
See my post on what I'm doing tonight. Its gonna be a blinding night, not cos I might pull but because I'm gonna be surrounded by friends who are true hardcore stompers. We're gonna have a tearing night rockin it down till dawn. We're gonna rip the **** out of the shiny shoes crew who are out to pull cos we all know that 90% are gonna fail and the rest are gonna pull hoofers.
However, I reserve the right to cancel the above if an attractive female member of the opposite sex decides she likes what she sees.

the best way is to stop looking. Maybe it's because looking, or "going out on the pull" make you (not just you, but men in general" look quite unattractive.
Having a good time regardless, not trying to be a geezer all the time, LISTENING to what women have to say (genuinely or otherwise)are all good things.

Dont worry Fulham, your not on your own.........infact just last night I went on a date with a nice girl - everything seemed cool, but she seems to have gone mental and hasnt responded to my text messages, this morning, er or at all.
Now either she just doesnt want to see me or shes left her phone at home.
