Caught speeding by a Mondeo!!!

Just done some calcs of how long it should have taken me to complete this measured 1-mile with a 400yd section of 40mph with the rest being 60mph.
At 40mph and 60mph it should have taken me 67 secs.
If you assume 60mph all the way , it calcs out at 60sec.
However, if you do 44mph in the 40mph limit and 66mph in the 60mph limit it takes you 60secs.
Seems a lot to muscle a full court scenario when a lot of police time and my money can be saved.

I appreciate this is generating some level of chat between us all and this is what I wanted to achieve - why else make this post in the first place.
BuRR is and has been really helpful and I cant thank him enough for the insights he has given. With him being a policeman himself, I admire the way he has extended his arm to help me given its his job to enforce the law.
Also, EVO and SiDHeaD yo have given me some interesting thoughts to consider which I do appreciate.
To the best of my knowledge there is no factual record of my speed be it on video, timed, VASCAR etc.

scoobs4ever - check your email.
Evolution - your mate a police officer or a civilian? Any officer should know that its possible to do what I did. It happened. Guilty at court. May not be the norm, but it is possible, which is what I've been trying to say the whole time.

Sorry chaps, but I have to confirm everything Burr has said is 100% correct (and yes i do know before anyone has a go - I do the same job)
Burrs a good bloke and offered a lot of good free advice over the months.
You should listen to what he says.
cheers

Firstly, I'd like to ask BuRR to continue posting advice here. I, and many others, appreciate it a great deal. Your recent help to Scoobynetters with detector testing was top class.
Secondly, even if the officer on the ground says you will not be done, you still can be taken to court on the evidence the officer(s) present back at the nick. I should know because it happened to me. When the coppers involved at the scene (of the accident) came to take a statement to get the other guy prosecuted, they were outraged that I'd recieved 4 points and a £95 fine. Imagine what that did to an 18 year olds insurance!
Here's hoping you have a bit of luck on this one Scoobs_4ever.
