Manic Street Preachers - Generation Terrorist - Before they sold out.

Guns n Roses - Appetite for Destruction - Better than you remember.

Massive Attack feat Mad Professor - No Protection - Nothing to say really

Faithless - Irreverence - Pure Quality

The last one doesn't really count as a rediscovery, as it hasn't been out of the multichanger in three years

Beastie Boys - In Sounds From Way Out
Snap - World Power
Miles Davis - Kind of Blue
Metallica - Ride the Lightning
Cafe del Mar - Volume One (Jose Padilla)
Prodigy - Experience
Aerosmith - Pump

to name a few off the top of my head ... love them all ... and also love my collection of budget (we're talking £4 for 4 CDs) "Best of Rave" collections, including classics like "The Shamen, Ebeneezer Goode", "SL2, On a Ragga Tip, The Bouncer", "Activ8, Altern8", "Bizarre Inc., Playing with Knives" ...

Agree KLF and Joan Armatrading. Quite liked her later "Square the Circle" record or was it the other way around. In any case, the only copy I had is in an ex-girlfriend's car (to be fair, i did give it to her) Must remember to get them to sign the clause "all records that I give you which I turn out to like myself will remain my property if I get bored of you"

As for Moby, I'm with Eminem on this one. Someone gave me a copy of "Play" - what a load of utter tosh. should be entitled "playing with myself" except it's not even that good. as for his next effort - words fail me

The last record that I thought was up there at "classic" status was probably Eliot Smith - Figure 8. That's a proper record. production not first class though. Beverly Knight "Get On Up" is a good party number. Can't get started though or I'll be here all day.
