If it's not been recovered or found burnt out yet, I would hazard a guess that it is in several smaller, easily disposable pieces by now Especially if, as you say is likely, it was a towaway job

When I had my car nicked as a student it initially didn't seem to have gone for joyriding, however the morning after it walked a friend of mine, who didn't know that the car had gone, thought he was following me round the Oxford ring road (very distinctive reg) and he flashed his headlights at who he thought was me...at that time he had a white car...and the scumbag driving my car then proceeded to accelerate at haste and go the wrong way around a roundabout disappearing into the Blackbird Lees estate...my mate called me later to call me an **** for driving like that, I explained what had happend...2 days later the car was found as a burnt out mess on a quiet Abingdon housing estate, when it had been torched it was parked next to an brand new car that was wipped out as well

The Police beleived that it had been nicked for parts, hidden over night then was being moved the next day when my mate came along...the low life must have assumed that the white car following him flashing was a panda car and decided to dump it at the first oportunity...in the Blackbird Lees...where it became a gymp for the joyriding scum [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img]

Going back onto the cossie if it was nicked from Billington Park, isn't it conceivable that the scum might be taugnting the former owner? Sorry not a nice thought...but with the police so pre-occupied with speeding these days they might be getting a little cocky [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img]
