I don't believe they have a right to 40% but didn't the government hand them this case on a plate by taking that themselves?
Bit two faced to turn round now and say 40% is out of order.. You could also say that the position of MP is oversubscribed as in most electtions there are at least two other ppl wanting the job!

Retire at 50?
Just think, I could have been retired for 6 years now, as it is I have 9 to go.
...and I will be getting half pay, not two thirds

They make me so FUKCIN' MAD!!!
A lady came on the radio this morning, said she lived by the side of a Firestation - said they play footie all summer, playstations all winter no doubt?
Most of the Firemen I have ever known have other jobs - NOT because they are earning too little - BUT Because they have so much time on their hands!!! One I knew ran a video rental company from the station
Why do they not go on FULL TIME strike like in the old days??
I hope the government break them - hire the 40 per job applications they get - take over the stations - train them under their noses - then SACK the lot of them!!
They will lose public support over this - they only need one old granny to die in a fire and a young lad in the army to die trying to rescue her, because they are using ancient gear
