Flat4,
Your product design may produce some very good advantages, but I need to see some RESULTS.
You stated that you personally hadn't done any testing, but if some of your customers have done this on your behalf, I need to see the BEFORE, and AFTER results, and the spec's of the cars.
Currently, I'm not in a position to recommend the product, and have suggested that we wait until we see some results, and feed back.
Mark.

I dont think FFIC has asked you to recommend the product has he?
This thread is for those wishing to purchase a Performance Manifold that is currently available.
But if you are wishing to promote the product through your company, graphs can become available for those with a real interest.

2 Pints,
I believe I had made my position quite clear in my original post. I certainly don't need to justify myself to someone who creates a new account to hide behind
You, and others can spend their money as they wish. I however, like to know what I'm paying for, especially if I'm doing it on behalf of someone else !!!
There are numerous tried, and tested options on this product, and if I'm going to choose one, over another, I want to know why.
My priority on any product, is "will it do what I want", the "price" is a secondary issue.
Anyway, I'll leave it to others to see what they're getting for their money.
Mark.

The answer to that one is Yes!!!
The only way to prove this Mark is buy one and use yourself. If you dont like the gains you can have your money back! I cant say fairer than that can i!
Enough of this petty banter. Lets do this how we should.

So far, "the tin" says:
It's nigh-on impossible to know what gains you'll get and I don't think anyone will step up to the mark and give you a figure as every car will be different, especially given the different level of tune everyone on here has
One bit of empirical data:
What's an ilbt???
I would think it would be worth the supplier's while to road test before and after to head off this sort of discussion. If it's proven to be good, the group buy should be on
This isn't trying to slag/flame/whatever, just suggest a potential way to get more customers for ya
Although it does make your exhaust some what LOUDER!
Good gains from this mod also
One bit of empirical data:
Seen a gain of 30ilbt on a WRX

Thanks for your comments. Noted!
iblt Misprinted. Big fingers you see. Thats supposed to mean Torque!!! LBT
If i could translate Japanese (where this header is from) i would translate everything it says on the tin all on this thread! In the mean time i can only go on what i have been told by the customers that have purchased and fitted.
I am sure that (if it is OK with them) if i print their Numbers that those wanting one of these should ring them!
When these first came onto the market, we used HKS Headers.
A Race team we are currently sponcering tried out this header on their car and found it to give noticiable results. I take thier word as gospel, and have dealed in these items since.
All that we are TRYING to do if offer a quaility product to other Scooby owners at a good price.
We would not offer a product that has not been tested before hand.

Hello from Greece.
I sell a BPM exhaust manifold taken off my Scooby as I am selling it soon. Price is 650GBP. It is great piece of art, very light weight and surely makes a difference when you plan to modify the car more with Motec-Ecutek - exhaust systems - new turbo and other bits. Throttle response is superb as it revs quickly from 2,5 to 6000rpm like a storm. Only downside is the different sound that it makes. You loose that flat four sound but when you get familiar of the new you'll understand that now you became more noticed from others than before, as they wonder about the difference.
I also have a low rear spoiler from 98MY GT for 200GBP, a clutch set with the flywheel in very good condition as I am not playing with the clutch (25000KM). Price is 100GBP.
Mail me if interesting...

Hmm i might be interested, need to sort out fundage, i might possibly have another interested too. i'll speak to my friend tonight to ask him. Provisionally put me down for 2. How long to fit this to the scoob? Hard or easy job? Can we do it outselves or best to get mechanic to do it?
Nice results shown on the graph, for those who were unbelievers of this product dont you think RB5 286?
I'm sure that this product is of very good quality, sure looks like it from the picture on page 1!
Nice one lads
