well, i have just experienced what could be said as a very SLOW ride on scoobynet, i knew jap cars were hi tech, but i didn't think they had that much in common with the net, slow and unreliable...

So what brings all you angry newbies hear, someone been slagging off your site. I had a GTE, excellent engine, pull full revs in 5th i was impressed, oh forgot to say that WAS 1987, things move on lads. Ten years from now youll be in Mk 2 focus's "4x4" if they ever get round to it, and all the Corsa Mk 28 newbies will be clogging up your SITE.

we are not here to cause any trouble otherwise we wiould have caused it, we have refrained to a few threads in the hope that some fellow performance car drivers would have a laugh.
is there a sense of humour here, just comment on the Mk2's rattely dash or slow windows... we can take it as a joke. we all have faults on our cars, but many scooby owners won't admit to it, as they wont admit to being beaten by a G plate astra.

as for the sixth formers, i am only 19 so im allowed...
and no, i am not paying sky high insurance, and yes i can afford a scooby but dont see the point when i have a VERY sexy car allready and it is just as fast...

SASMAN id love a P1 but I ain't paying silly money for one would rather get a Supra or sommit like that!

RDS, we cant point out the fact that there is only 1 good subaru ever made and that there whole exsistence depends on the impreza.
why should they remember that every other manufacturer has a car for all styles, 4WD, 2WD, N/A, Turbos
and why we are at it, lets not remind the of the new astra concept car with its 4.0L V8 producing 444BHP and its 20" wheels and its advanced traction system and 4WD and its sexy bodykit, for that would be unfair

Don't do rallying?? looking at the pick of the P1 at the start of this thread though I think he should consider the change! Wheres the ford focus at the mo!! rallying scoobys of the road in the last event if I remember rightly

Stop apologizing im not stressed with you, just reading your opinions. Johnny you seem to be a one make man, "hope i'm not ageing you to much" go for a drive in a Sub and i don't mean on a playstation. I have a friend your age with a modded Mk2 GTE, up to 60 it's there abouts after that its gone. I honestly don't see anything other than a highly modded Astra staying with an Impreza round the lanes

like we said, we are keeping it confined, except for those RS boys which we must all agree on...
as for the conceptions of the VX, those that have had one must admit that they are almighty cars for what they are. for £500 you have a car that can compete against a scooby, all be it a little taty.
i like scoobys but wouldn't pay the cash, i love VX's and think they are worth every penny, and i do not see every VX driver as on of the gimps with a MaxxyP sticker and the peco... but there are a few out there (to many).
but i think you will find all those that have posted on here have got very respectable cars, maybe of you see them in the flesh then you would agree...
tastes vary, lets agree on that, and i will admit that many scoobys have beaten me, and i will say i have beaten many scoobys. in town i wouldn't even try, but on the open road im afraid i stick to the 2WD over 4WD anyday...
anyway, im off now as its getting a tad boring...
