LOL @ this thread, i started on like this a while ago and it went to 17 pages before it was locked
i have owned both cossie and scooby and i had more trouble with the cos in 3 months than i have had with the scooby in one year.
both good fun though

323roy.
You get what you pay for and that is why many cars out there go bang as people have made short cuts and you will pay in the long run.
The fact that you can wind up a GTR to 600 BHP on STD internals sings volumes for the std lump. OK you have to spend money on it to get there..turbos, cams, coolers, jectors, chip etc but it can handle it.
More importantly the transmission and gearbox can take it as well.
So when you are talking about big horses the skyline is GREAT value for money against what else is out there.
I am sure there are many people on this board who bought a scooby a year or so ago, spend 15k on it and have spent lots more trying to get to 350 bhp or maybe more. Jeez a stage one GTR (1500 pound upgrade) will hit 380 bhp on 0.9 bar!!
People seem to think that you can get tonnes of power for sweet FA money. Wake up and smell the roses mate and that is why you are drving around in a 323 and me in a skyline.
I am just glad it is still out of reach of all the monkey boys out there with their stupid caps and devotion to max flower.
Sadly, the scoob (a legend in its own lifetime and changed the way people looked at jap cars) is now falling into this trap and I feel the brand is getting trashed.
Just my 2c.
