beemerboy,

Bit of generous with the speed figure there mate.

My cousin had one, but with the mercedes bodyshell. Might agree with the new race-tuned version tough (the V-one S i think it is). Now that is fast!

HKS, the "main" difference in the 2 models being the 2 sp box, which i have.

I actually thought you knew a few things about R/C

Heres mine:

1:8 0.70 EK4 S2. Not the quickest, at around 40mph but like Andrewza says, they do go aver just about anything

more info at www.acehobby.com/acehobby/products/car/ek4/index.html

Should go a little quicker when the 0.90 engine goes in and the 3 speed from Triple H comes out

Cheers,

Scott.

2 more of my babys to drool over....

BB

PS the scoob is looking good....dont crash it!!! LOL

The Ford Focus WRX is a pretty standard Kyosho kit (my first r/c attempt) with just a tuned pipe and a gx12 nitro lump.
4WD gave me a great laugh on the groundfrost last winter!!!

The GS Storm is my latest addition 1/8scale .21 racing lump, tuned pipe and various other odds and sods.
not sure of exact speed, but it scares the **** out of me in confined spaces!!!

If anyone fancies meeting up for a blast, pls. let me know!!!
My mate has an off-road track and shop in Essex, we can all use.
BB

Andrewza, i can thoroughly recommend the GSStorm.

They are not cheap, but my brother-in-law and myself manged to pick 2 up at the sandown model airshow for £350ish.

I think they still retail about the £450 mark.

Spares are dirt cheap, and they Screeeeeem along.
