No - I think BM had sorted the V8 problems by the M5 launch - I vaguely remember something about the old 840, and 540 lumps sludging oilways at the back of the block which was a manufacturer recall item.

V8 M5?

Enjoy the M5! I've had mine for a bit now and it's awesome. So much more of a car than the Scoob.

Mine's a 2000 W reg in dark Mica Grey metallic. Not sure of the colour exactly. Enjoy the noise and the handling. It's truly awesome for such a big car. We'll have to have an M5 corner at the Scooby meets! LOL

Merc/Matt,

Take delivery at the end of the week. Can't wait. Will miss the Scoob though. Funny getting back into it after the test drive in the M5 - Scoobs are very raw and I enjoy that.

Silverstone (pale silver blue) with Black nappa point leather interior. Very different experiecne from the Scoob. Will keep you guys posted from time to time.
