Oh, and I dont have a Scoob either - once I buy a Scoob I will join up
Have you had a look in the shop? There are loads of things in there that are completely non-scooby related & get discounts - such as Web Design Services

Speaking personally, I would invest money with the prospect of saving it.

Now, I'm guessing here, but the only way you can save money currently is to mod your car. How about striking a deal with an Insurance provider - everyone needs car insurance. Some 19,000 plus members have a lot of purchasing power that any sane Insurance company would surely want to tap into?

Personally, I think saving the odd few quid on purchases isn't enough to tempt me...if there were bigger deals on a rotating basis, sort of like Tesco's offer's if you like, buy 3 get one free, or maybe a points system where you get points from buying from advertisers if you quote a discount code seen on the Scoobyshop site. Points can be traded as discount on items.

Also, how about doing a discount on original Subaru spares?, common parts like filters, MAF's, discs, clutches etc.

Maybe the buy 3 get one free was a bad example, 3 sets of 6 pots get one set free...emmm I can see the dilema in getting a balance

I agree with Scoobs_4ever, surely someone must be able to operate an insurance scheme that includes imports, modified cars, drivers with points and under the age of 75 at a reasonable discount for club members.

I am a member, but there should be a seperate forum for the scoobynet plus members so they can go in and out from time to time which will seperate the ones who drive fords / vauxhalls / etc or the ones that come on for a chat,Not that there is alot wrong with the odd chatterbox`s but it may cut down some of the bull5hit that floats around.

What it boil`s down to is it needs that pro touch.

There could be a discount for track days, insurance, etc.

This is just my opinion.

Swapshop is a good idea.

I (like someone else already mentioned) may well sign up as and when I need to buy something and only then if its worth my £25. At the moment I dont intend buying anything so there is no point in being a member (other than to get the little tag under my name )

Simon.

Maybe stuff like Prodrive live, The Tangerine style drive a ferrari type of stuff,
(The biggest reason I haven't joined yet is I am too lazy to stick a cheque in the post, get the online payment thing sorted and I'll be there.)
Si has the Scoobynews CD been sorted yet?
