Unless you're known personally to the owner of the franchise, you wont get house calls. Order stuff off the website however and the dealer for your area will get commission on it. Makes no sense at all!

p.s. Apart from the £45K it costs to buy the franchise, who has ever seen a poor dealer (assuming they make it through the first 2-3 years!)

Was in the motor trade many years and ALWAYS bought Snap On, some mechanics would buy cheaper stuff, but they would borrow Snap On tools when the going got tough.
I can remember when the Flank Drive Plus spanner range came out, best spanners I ever bought, still got them now, still perfect, saved the day many a time!

If you've ever been in the situation with a tight nut or bolt that wont shift... with a cheap spanner it "rounds off" the nut causing loads of hassle and you wishing you'd spent the extra money and bought Snap On tools.
For occasional DIY use you would cope with a cheaper brand, but stick with Snap On for your tool box... Built to last... and they do!
