Excellent news. If you want to invite your experienced Kerts (WTF?) feel free.

Ideally I'm looking for around 18 Teams.

Sti8/Sking Holiday.....if you worked in IT at the moment you'd be luck to afford a Metro and a weekend in Skegness !!!!!!!!!!!

It was more a dig at the other people who agreed to run teams and have disappeared

If the last two teams pay then that would be OK as a minimum. If there is anyone else who would like to enter a team then feel free. The maximum is around 22 teams.

Team KYA have withdrawn.....Steve had forgotten he had agreed to do this and now has other commitments.

This leaves us with 12 confirmed teams and 1 don't know. This is getting tight as a minimum number.

If we can scrape a couple more teams together then I won't have to invite the "big boys"

I've just confirmed with Rye House that the race will go ahead with the number of teams we have currently.

Remember that you must be at the circuit by 10 am for the briefing to start at 10.30

One slight change to the previous race is that there will be qualifing and a 'proper' race start from your relevant grid position.

Let's hope that it's dry

Having driven a Thunder Kart (with slicks) on a Icy Bayford Meadow circuit I doubt that you'd actually want snow.....

Your feet will get too cold !

Just to let you know the third (or in an Irish accent and rather appropriate Turd) member of our team has now been confirmed as Rich 'The legacy hearse driving' Lark

My feet will only get cold if I have to get out and push my kart back on to track like you

Rye house was the scene of my only previous karting victories in prokarts, on slicks in torrential rain. Mind you when it began to dry all the bloody jockey sized types came flying past, but too little too late as we were so many laps ahead at that point. So bring on anything except nice and dry and sunny

Josh , please rearrange this well known phrase Pot, the kettle, black, calling

PS How much does your car weigh?

Only problem is Bayford Meadow has a really grippy surface so unless it s torrential rain you don't switch to slicks. Rye House I don't think has such a grippy surface, so pray for a bit of rain/snow to spice it up, see who the real driers are... can;t wait!

out paced my ****...the hgv wheels you have on that thing were throwing up so many stones I thought the road was being gritted...my bonnet now looks like it has been shot by a 12 bore.

and I think the 'let buses' pull out sign in the back window got me for a minute there

As the svelte member of our team (i.e. i'm under 16 stone ) it's nice to see the other two (Michelin Man and Jabba the Hut aka Josh and Fat Boy) are winding each other up again
