why are my eyes watering.
Thanks barry, that would be a great help, I'll pop you a mail with my tel number. I literally just need to give it a quick run up the road to see if the vibration stops, so no rubber will be consumed, honest.

Many thanks to Banshi for the loan of his P1 wheels.
Well thats that confirmed, i killed my tyres too. I am going to have them checked on balance just in case the garage messed up, but i think i wont be lucky and now have to find a set of wheels and tyres. Ouch. What a waste of a good set of SO2's.
One thing this did let me confirm also, is that P1 Pirelli P Zero's are absolutely deadly on a TypeRA. It was cold and wet, but wheelspin at 60MPH in 3rd in a straight line, just from flooring it, come on, thats just silly. I couldnt get wheelspin in 2nd on the same road with my SO2's on.
Anyone driving in winter on these tyres is very brave, they are $hit.

John,
You gotta try a claim against these guys. They all hold public liability insurance against this kind of thing.
One of my mates wrecked his front wheels going over a speedbump at 15mph in a 30mph limit. It was new and there was a warning sign but they still paid up after a few letters.

Bummer that one John, I'm short 1 decent S02 after I drive with a nail in one of mine for a few miles and it wrecked the side wall Nothing like your scale, but I know the feeling...Still only have one decent S02 and 3 fairly tired ones that I keep swapping around with the ones in my shed...been looking for a decent replacement, no way and S03, P-Zero or a Toyo is going on my car...which doesn't leave me much choise as S02's are aledgedly no longer available
Still at least now you can put a claim in for a shiney net of 4 magnesium 18 inch Speedline Turini's
