Hi guys ,just thought i would have one last wind up before i bought another car ,well to tell the truth i did like the scoob on track were you could drive it the way it was supposed to be driven, but on the road to get fun out of it you have to drive them like a (tosser)sideways everywere well that doesnt go down well with other people and not being a lax power reader i dont like poseing about in car , so car had to go to make way for a honda so dont be so touchy about your scoobs as its always easy to start a wind up on here
shocker
ps saxo boy only winding you up as well, nothing wrong with saxos ,and glad your going in right direction and buying a scoob after a saxo

All these 'negative' posts are hilarious. Has Scoobynet always been like this it seemed fine for the first month or so since I've started frequenting. Perhaps its cos it's nearly xmas and people are feeling a bit silly.
Scooby no longer / Shocker if you've ever seen any first-hand track action in your scoob (presuming you even owned one) I'll eat my wastegate. And as for having to drive sideways on public roads to get any fun from them...well that just reinforces my last statement.
I know I'm contradicting myself here by posting this reply, but guys, WHY keep falling for the bait and responding to these posts? If you stop taking the bait people will get bored of laying it.

not badge-snob but i am not a sad git who thinks that all my cars i have owned are great since the age of 17.
i dont get all sentimental and nostalgic about the great (thinking back sad) times i had with my 1.3 SR pumping the 3 watt stereo through town.
I look back and think what a heap that was. A car is just a car not a person with feelings.
saxoboy stop living in the past hehe

I have enjoyed owning all 9 cars and spent months/years saving for each one. Some have been better than others but the Scoob is the first car I have have brought two of and also my first scoob was this first car I sold and thought should have have done this deal.

Saxo Boy............or whatever.......We all have the right to bore people from time to time but you sir abuse the privilege!!
I'm not looking back overly fondly at all! I loved the Saxo and I love the Subaru (those are the only car's I've owned so far) I loved my dads 330d and his 406 2.1TD but I wasn't so keen on his 405TD and I didn't rate my mums 1.3 Polo - which I had for a while. Besides, I only got rid of the VTS in the summer so its hardly a comparable example to me having a clapped out Nova (or similar) many years ago. Nobody on this site would DARE slag off another user for looking back lovingly at a 205 GTI because they are an 'in' and 'cool' car - because I liked my VTS I get slagged! Seems a tad unfair to me given that the VTS can match the old GTI in every department and then trounce it for creature comforts and build quality. What it lacks though is that 205's factor.
