That not a very good attitude! You surely wouldn't feel upstaged when your Impreza was eaten alive by a drag car or a bike...but you might if it was a fairly standard looking BMW 330ci or a Audi TT. In the same way I would not at all feel like I have egg on my face if a Nova that was built purely to drag upstaged me. If I get spanked by a car that then pulls of the strip back on to the road can handle well, look quite good, carry 4/5 people and some shopping and be relatively comfortable then I'll pay respect. As andy says Nos's car is in a different league to mines and most on here. Where is nos anyway???

I didn't say whether or not I would be spectator at York, it would be nice to bring my (vastly overweight hearse of a) car, but I don't think the gearbox would take it!

£5k to compete at Elvington? Are you mad? I might not have impressive time slips (or any at all!), but at least I'm doing something about it instead of calling foul (although the wife has asked for the back seats to be refitted).

The Gag about blue leds on washer jets was a jab at Nova guys in general, a group that hang around my local Mickey D's av em.

Lets face it NOS's Nova has probably as much in common with a Nova as mine does with a rally prepped WRC Car. Its a Kit car with a Nova shell that has been said before, straight line speed is bullsh*t what are his laptimes for a decent circuit ?
