Isn't the rule of thumb for the day after meant to be 1 unit assimilated per hour after drinking ?
So if you down 10 pints / 20 units; get a taxi home at midnight, you could still be dangerous at 6pm the next evening.
All depending on your metabolism, of course.
Probably best not to drive the next day if you drink that much.
And yes, shopping a drink driver would buy quite a few mods...downpipe and centre for starters, or a very nice backbox, or some driver training, or large grooved disks and pads, or a new stereo to replace that strange box in the centre console that makes hissing noises...

I am not into this shop a friend bit,if he or she is your friend simply take the keys off them job done.....
All this grass on your mates lark makes me sick.
I totally agree that drinking and driving is all wrong,and I never do it,but Im lucky I have a girlfriend who very seldom drinks,so she drives.
But surely the way to go is dont GRASS on yer mates just take the keys off them and put them in a cab FFS......
