Hiya Andy
Well the good news is, no one had any off's or real slides.. a couple of nice icly patches that made your backend lose it but apart from that every one is safe and sound..
Well apart from poor old paul who had a running with a Pheasant and left him with no gill and a dented bumper ( and left my car with a nice shower of feathers..
The motor is running very well mate.. nice and quick...
As for the flames, Velryba is your man, infact I wanted to stay behind him just to see how big they got.. and boy did they get big!!
Velryba got the link mate, thxs.. I am all booked in

Danny boy how you doing mate,
Shame you didn't come... I know what you mean about the ice in the morning. As I was still up at 4.30am and the roads looked ****e but it was very clear on the "run" infact I think they gritted the road for us Apart from the odd Icly bit it was very clear indeed..
Once we stopped for breakfast and the sun came out, the roads dried and the rest of the "run" was even better..
Never mind mate .. maybe the next one eh!

Darn it, stop tempting me to get another scoob..... and when I had one noone ever wanted to come out
Well I could bring up the rear in the oil burner, mind you, I wouldnt be too far behind. Perhaps I could just swerve around trying to stop mr khan overtaking me, now that would be fun !
Lord Lucan.... bring the golf.... we'll show em'

For anyone who wants to meet us at Brighton we wont be going as far as the cafe . We will be stopping short of the town borders at this link. On the roundabout above the main A27.

Blimey, that's a blast from the past.
Hi Kris, I came on the snowy one (2001?) with my P1 and had a nice straight on at a right hander, just before was it Andy and James did the bambi on ice impressions after passing the poor bloody learner. Still have the P1 (and a mumsy people carrier and ankle biters now too ...) but it's a bit more silly now with an RCM engine etc.
Still racing bikes?

Fat Boy - is that what you are now ? all loved up and comfy with kids !!! I remember the straight on very well... eek . Good job you kept you foot in. Did the farmer ever pay you for ploughing his firld ?
I couldnt believe its been that long. I`ve gone full circle really having sold the scoob for 2 Volvo`s believe it or not. Romped both of them round the Ring ( one a diesel and the other was the R version )then saw the light and have an ( ahen ) evo ( ahem ) now.
If time allows I`ll try and sort a Veterans Xmas run out.

Heh!
yep 6 and 5 year old so just coming up for air again
Evo - excellent, that'd make for an exciting run...as you "made progress" in your old scoob. I was still getting flashbacks of snow covered hedges flashing past my eyes when i went to bed that night
I still use a lot of those roads near London for a weekly warm the car through cruise
