Thumbs up

The AA checking service is not bad value for money (even if they are Centrica - AKA British Gas)

The upgrades I would recomend you look at (on the car before you buy it perhaps?) are Headlamp bulbs, brakepads & tyres all of which are pretty poor as standard.

I agree with Tony. Definitely you have to take your car to someone who knows about Subarus and has worked on them before. We get a few Subarus that come into our garage (well my uncles) who has had their clutch fitted by a normal clutch and its fine for the first 6-8 months and then its knackered! lol

The clutch fitting price i refered to is not a dodgy place some people are talking about, it is www.importcarparts.co.uk and a lot of people have good views and experiance with them.

However its in durham, so may be out of your way just a bit..!

Wink

Don't forget, as Tony said,...
every 6 months or 7.5k, whichever is first
even low milage means you still have to get your servicing done.

If you intend to keep the car 'til it's death then where you service it is up to you but remember that when you come to trade it in for a newer one the next buyer will want the same FSSH that you were looking for when you bought it
