I doubt I'll ever get that problem. I was raised as a middle class kid and will end up dying as one. Money isn't everything.

Well to me, anyone who goes around jumping into bed with someone else whilst they are in a relationship aint worth trusting.
One of the major principles of a relationship? Trust.
If two adults cant sit down and sort their problems out then they split up, simple as that as they know they are not compatable as partners, they could still be great friends though but would you really want to be friends with someone who decided they wanted a bit more (and not your bit either!).
Amanda holden is attractive, but would i touch her?
No, because i wouldnt be able to trust her as she couldnt stop from doing something she knew would eventually get out, and to be honest, if she's done it once, she'll do it again because its easy to let temptation take control where as if she really ever loved Les then she should have turned her back and walked away.
It sounds old fasioned but as Cino says, its a shallow world we live in and getting some morals may make life happier for alot more people out there.

after 15 years together and a few kids. Imagine you had been cheated on by the person you once would of died for, then think how hard it would be to just walk away from it all...
Hmmm, sometimes you gotta just walk, but, what are the circumstances ?.
A one night stand fuelled by booze or a long term deviance?. What caused her to look elsewhwere in the first place?, Was she just after the excitement of the one night stand because the first rush of lust had vanished from the relationship , or was it because she wanted out, felt the relationship was stagnant and felt it was easier to create the drama of infidelity to make the split a final one.
Agree on the above but staying together for the kids sake in a tempestuous relationship will do them more harm than good.
Loads of my mates have been cheated on since I got married cos the grass is always greener, and generally what happens is that for a couple of years, the bloke feels like shyte as he loses his house, ends up with limited access to the kids and the CSA chase him/divorce settlement pops up, etc, etc.
The woman is free to pursue her new bloke (or blokes), has the house, joins gingerbread and all is rosey. Then reality sinks in and she settles in with her new bloke (if he hangs around). Different face same shyte, and even though her lifes changed, its still the same, but she then has to deal with the extra agro of an ex hubby and access for the sprogs, also the new dimension of any tension between the new partner and the Kids.
He on the other hand has got his life back together, Only has to deal with the kids every other weekend and starts to live the life of a single man again, and may in time come to realise that even though she shat on him, she may have done him a favour in the long run (cos she wuz the same as all the other 'cheatin, lyin, schemmin, no good wimmen' his mamma warned him about)

Time heals all, Just don't let the Barstoods get you down in the meantime.

Edited for more dodgy spelling

Ash

Lol @ Mega, Your like a dog with a bone .
Cino is pretty for sure (and making a living from it, What a bonus!) but I'll bet she doesn't always regard it as an asset. Some people can't see beyond the looks and it changes peoples behaviour, make them kinda 'dippy'
.
Whats the saying 'you've gotta kiss alot of frogs ...........!

Red face

Leave the poor lass alone (Cino that is )
This isnt a debate about her vital statistics and she probaby doesnt want a load of rampant males chasing her

Back to the main story though, i know of 2 people, one of whom i was at school with and one who i was in basic training in the army with who had the non-desired affect of what a woman who cheats on them can make them do...
The first one was found hanging by his brother, his ex was a right bitch for what she did to him and had only her feelings and not someone elses in mind....
The second guy was seeing a german lass, they were engaged and were meant to be getting married until he found out she was seeing a few other blokes (like anytime he wasnt there she was seeing different ones!)
He ended up doing a "full metal jacket" and placed a loaded SLR (7.62mm) in his mouth whilst on guard duty, pulled the trigger, the bullet then just missed the guy upstairs as it went through the floor right next to where he was sleeping and as you can imagine, there wasnt much of this guys head left.....
This works both ways though, and sometimes its the only time you acutally see the real person you were with, selfish and self centered with no consideration for anyone else.
These are extreme examples of a very rare case, but if you ever had any feelings for the person you break up with then you will also think about how they are going to feel, Amanda Holden by the looks didnt, now would you REALLY want to go out with a woman who only thinks about herself?

Well thanks guys for creating a swimming pool for me hehehe

But at the moment i am extremly shocked at Tony's story, no woman or man on this earth id worth taking your own life over, especially if they cheat on you and break your heart... I am so sorry they didn't have the chance to realise this and carry on with a better life. I would never intentionally hurt my bf, and if i DID find someone else and was i wanted them then i'd sit my bf down and explain, not be a bitch about it, thats orrible.

Yes she is a babe but only one you would want to know if you want to get hurt as Cino says it is the personality that is most important, looks will "Grow" on you as you get to know some body.

But i do agree it is women who are the most unfaithfull i have had two 3 year+ relationships end because the girl friend of the time cheated on me, i also have couple of female friends (platonic) who have cheated on boy friends or husbands at some point. You just learn that women can not be trusted.

Well i work with women allday and to be honest i think there are more faithfull than unfaithfull!
Men are just as bad, to be honest i know its cowardly not to get out of a relationship first but if either man or women arent happy at home then they start to stray, more fact than not!
If you love someone and its mutual and both respect each other then i dont think either would stray.
The stories i hear off some of my clients about there lazy male chauvanistic husbands who constantly leave the loo seat up LOL
deserve to be left IMHO, look after what yoou got and dont try and take the p1ss.
Lee
Happy new year!

Edited to add top tips! from what i hear from the laydeez!

Dont leave the loo seat up!

dont squeeze the toothpaste in the middle!

put your dirty washing in the correct place not the bathroom floor!

Put the bins out!

and dont *** first!

firstly, happy new year
i like these kinda threads... got so much to say on the matter

Cino - u are a babe. thats a fact. better looking than most lassies.
When i read ur replies, i was thinking - head is screwed on right, heart is in the right place, very mature and wise - nice lassie.

To be honest, I am amazed how good looking you are. Stunning.
You dont often find that the two go together - or is that more that you would dream that the two would be found together but that thats like winning the lottery. (well ive yet to find it in real life)

I wonder how many guys had thought that if they saw u, without knowing who u are, that they would really have a chance with u. Not many i think. In that way looks are bad - pedistel (speeling).

Cheaters and liars are scum. Hate them. Had both done to me and it hurts loads. Dropped like a hot tattie.
But I think that people can change. Tho if i knew someone had cheated before id be more wary to let myself fall for them.

As for who is more likely to cheat...
50 - 50
'Typical lager guy' - lager, beer, drunk, 1 off.
'Typical temptress lassie' - drink, desire, 1 off.

In reality - you just can never tell about people...
Lassies I met at uni who were mates - fun lassies who seemed like they would never cheat - tempted by a 'bad boy' and keep it hidden from their partner.
Guys who got plastered - lads who like to have a laugh but when come on to by a lassie would not even entertain the thought.

So, if i actually met Amanda Holden - or indeed you coz ur better looking than she is - then...
find out if she/you smoke (yuk)
guage what sorta person and if wed get on
etc...

but none of that will happen... so back to the dreamland...
i.e. she/you dont smoke and are lovely people and i met you tonight for a new years kiss on Princess Street in Edinburgh and we live happily till we grow old n white

nice thread.

DRUNKNORGY way to much to go into here but some of the mess is

it was not a one night stand

I knew our relationship was on rocky ground and despite me trying to talk about it for along time it seems that they was hell bent on doing it anyway as they fancied this person

It is not just what took place but the lies and deceit that hurts just as much

Not knowing if I know the whole truth about what did happen hurts like hell

My partner says that they will never do it again if it happens again then I will leave them no matter what they say

I put on a brave face and act like it is behind me

I could not bear the thought of being away from my children and having someone else bring them up

So I stay and will wait and see if they are true to their word if after time I am convinced that they are not going to repeat their infidelity then I will move on and recommit emotionally and not just physically to our relationship

When will men use their ********* and just leave their cheating partners? If you can't afford alimony or don't want to lose contact with the children, you can hire a hitman for 5k and make it look like an accident. That is the only prudent way to go..

They have a word for people like Les. Loser..
