When was I disputing your overall play from the start of the season?

In this case, I was talking about one game, not all of them!!!!!

Anyhow, that is **** all to go on, if you haven't been reading my posts, I think the standard of refereeing is disgraceful and I am sure if games had been reffed a bit closer to the FA rules than they are at the moment, then a few teams would have more points!!!!!!!!!!

Ok. But Rennie was a good example of a referee today, he sorted the cheating **** Berkovic out, but should he have sorted out Distin for what looked like a bit of BGH.

I think the FA did well to put Rennie back to the 1st division for a year.

Btw I was watching the Madrid / Valencia game - just as well you did not see that. Aimar kicked Casillas in the head and he only got a yellor for it - ref was stood right in front of the action. Aimar later committed another offence which got him sent off though...

Sorry to interupt this private spat, but I had to comment on Redkop's....

A message to you Dermot 'manc-lover' Gallagher - **** OFF you are not fit to referee!
I was at OT in '95 for Gallacher's first ever Premiership game, Utd vs Blackburn. We were crap, but we won 1-0, Eric scored. Gallacher gave us absolutely everything. We stared at each other with open mouths stunned at some of his more bizarre decisions (in our favour).

Obviously the observer had a word with him after the game,....and ever since, he's come to OT determined to put that result right. He's a ****ing nightmare! Now if a full-back shot Giggs in the leg with both barrels, Gallacher'd give a drop-ball!

As an arch Utd-hater he's got 3 main contenders for the crown,...Riley, Durkin and Ellery. The rest are just plain incompetent!

Right, got that off my chest,...excuse the intrusion, you can get on with it now.

IMO I didn't see a whole lot wrong with the tackling, nothing wrong with showing a little aggression - after all thats called imposing authority. This is not basketball, its a contact sport. The conditions perhaps made the challenges to look worse than what they were. See for example Diao's first yeller - what was wrong with that ? Nothing too wrong with his second half challenge as he got the ball - in the days of old that would have been an ok challenge.

As for GH - well we are upset and things do need to be changed a little, but I am behind him at least until the end of the season anyway.

See Didi was not even playing, Riise did not commit a bad tackle all night. The only nasty tackle was perhaps Steve G's. I think perhaps you have a perception that is unfounded.

To back up Redkops' statement, I think we were on top of the table for team with least bookings - that was recently too.
