If you go drinking with a batty then you deserve what is inevitably going to happen to you in the future. It's just a matter of time until he has one too many and follows you home....

You know what I find unnatural ? Crusty socks.
Now we only have to wait for someone to use the word feltching to get this thread to stoop to an even lower level...
Oops, someone just did []
Amazing thread.

Replies like yours just go to prove that there are many many people with much more serious problems than I will ever have. If this is truely your opinion, I would ask you to open your eyes and get into the real world.
Chris
(slightly disappointed, but not at all surprised)

Chris, I'm amazed you still try to reply whilst using reason...
If people worry about things like this, they must be truly happy.
The irony that their dad might have been gay/bi could be slightly lost on them I suppose...
Oh, and I suppose animals that are into gay sex are "unnatural" as well ? Chimpansees & what have you...
I thought these discussions died a natural death in the 1960ies...
Sing if you're glad to be gay... remember that one BTW ?

Lost me too Theo!
I am trying to keep this level headed because as I have said, I do have a very close friend who is gay. I can't change it, he can't change it. Fact is he's a great bloke and someone I'm pleased to say I can call a friend. A former boyfriend of Sal's couldn't even stand to be in the same room as him and he didn't even like Sal going out with him for a drink etc. How blinkered can you get?
There are some people on here with serious issues that they need to address. I'm quite comfortable with my own feelings on this issue. Seems to me that there are many on here who are not.

Was a song from Tom Robinson Band (TRB), most known for 2-4-6-8 Motorway.

Oh, and for all the biggots on this thread: to quote someone: "may your sills go rusty & your engine be astmathic above 4000 RPM"

I'd like to be able to say that I can't believe this has run to 6 pages so far, but actually I can - the world is full of scared, narrow-minded bigots. I read the thread title and thought, "so what?". It's only now that the thread has run this far that I've read it to see what all the fuss is about. Absolutely nothing as far as I can see. As long as people aren't abusing children or causing unwanted suffering to other people, live and let live.

Unbelievable.
I can't believe what Ive just read. I thought that all went out the window years ago, or at least when you grow up.
We have lots of gay friends, male and female. Never bothered me at all. We spent Friday night at some lesbian friends of our who have 2 kids. We took our kids. It will never be a problem for them as they have been 'exposed' (no, you know what I mean) to different lifestyles, and I think it does them good. They will grow up to be more tolerant than the bunch of ignorant biggots posting on here.
I used to work with a guy who was gay, and won Mr Gay UK back in the eighties. He hadn't come out at work, as he was too shy to, and you could understand why after the abuse he got afterwards. Lovely bloke too.
I have male gay friends who come and stay with us occasionally. Yes, they share a room in our house. I can honestly say that it has never bothered me one iota.
Grow up.

So you dont mind getting sodomised, then, TK
As far as I can see, whether or not I mind being sodomised is irrelevant, and certainly none of the business of anyone else on this board.
My personal feelings do not make any difference to the fact that I have no objection to any consensual act between adults, as long as the act harms nobody else and everyone involved is mentally competent to give their consent.
Your suggestion that my finding homosexuality acceptable means that I must enjoy being sodomised is tenuous, to say the very least, but you're not stupid, you know that already. I find it interesting that you have chosen to this particular argument though. Firstly, you know I am female, so you will be aware, I assume, that homosexual sex for me is less likely to mean sodomy anyway. Secondly, if I don't enjoy sodomy, I am unlikely to consent to it, even during any homosexual sex I may or may not have. That makes it a non-consensual act and outside of the scope of this thread in any case.
Frankly, I am disappointed in you. Your arguments are usually much better considered and more challenging than this.
Could do better.

Why did BeverlyM and TurboKitty both lump anyone whose posted here as being ignorant
I am glad to see the evidence in the thread that there are plenty of open-minded and tolerant people on here. My point was more that I find it amazing that such a non-issue has run to 6 pages! Quite apart from anything else, it would never even occur to me to post on Scoobynet if a friend of mine told me they were gay!

Claudius, your bait is getting a bit obvious - you're usually a bit more subtle than this.
Still, I'll give you a sensible reply, why not?

Having said that, I'm sure you could also argue that there's a little bit of licking involved in gay male sex, I dont not know and want to know that, but I would suppose there is.
Maybe one of our friendly and intelligent gay male Scooby drivers here could shed some light on the subject? Rich? LOL John? LOL

Beverly, not to expose to different lifestyles?
