"it wont be very quick because its not up to full boost yet!"
jeez craig I forget what a to55er you are!
still sad news.
claudius, the spec wasnt that high, stronger bottom end and the ancillaries to make it run ie. fmic and ecu. 550 injectors iirc.
9.5 to 100 and 3.7 or whatever to 60 speak for themselves!

Hi Craig; I think I know you from somewhere, heard your name before. Do you work for a motorsport parts supplier or something along those lines?
Turbo Dynamics tend to build strong turbos for high boost from what I have heard.
What was supposed to be 2.2? the engine capacity or the boost?

Going down the back straight at Bedford in the pouring rain with the bonnet flapping like a flappy thing was an experience to say the least...
160mph, 1.8bar and 4 lights on the knocklink. Maximum attack you could say
JCMAF was the important bit on that spec list

Craig,
Actually, the "all of us" that you think are just humouring me are actually humouring you into thinking that they are humouring me
We'd all just like you to shut up and go and drive your plastic bath tub and leave us alone
Matt

After 6 years of owning Scoobs I've sold my STI today.
Went from std UK in 97 to std STI in 99 - and beyond.
Have met some great people along the way and made some truly good friends which is great -and a few enemies. Which is tough. Would say sorry but this is more apt
Tried many different things with the sti and unfortunately most of the companies used didn't have a clue about either tuning parts or engine work.
I can say what works well in my experience though as I believe (even 18 months later) I had the fastest or 2nd fastest officially timed 2 litre Scoob in the country.
I know along the way I swayed a few RS Cossie (especially at their National Day )and modded EVO folk to realise modded Scoobs are pretty quick.
I think I also have a good idea of who can build engines and who can't- ones that last anyway
Would also liike to blow my own trumpet and say I was responsible for bringing NF into the country. And making people aware of the APS range and also bringing Defis to the masses. What a hero huh?
Not sure what I'm gonna replace the STI with - current IT market is 5hite so will be something cheap - am sick to the back teeth of losing Łks on cars for no reason anyway.
So this is the end of Scoob ownership for me.
Unfortunately haven't got many decent photos of the car so if anyones got any it'd be great if you could post them - so I can steal them
I hate these type of posts so I apologise to all people who are like me and think "What a sad cvnt to post this ****"
