Dales Run 5
#151
A great day Thanks Craft, Heather
Weather couldn't have been better (for March )
Homeward bound - Run part B took me'n'CW up and over the tops to Colne (still not sure whether it was the road we could all see from the pub ) + photo stops for CW
Then along the narrowest, twistiest ups and downs to Hebden Bridge. After a slow tour of Halifax and Hudd, headed towards Sheffield on 616, then nipped across Strines, stopping for more photos, and down to Ladybower, parting ways at Bamford.
Good to meet you all
See you at the next one...

Thanks for another superb Dales run, G&H. Had a great time leading the group and glad everybody arrived back safely. Good meeting up again with everybody. My mate says he will come again, so my driving can't be that bad!
Cheers

Cheers G&H, an excellent run
I think we got the best of the traffic by the sounds of it, I even managed to squeeze past that double decker bus without much problem
Very nice run back with Christine It was the road we could see across the valley and very vice it was too, and the rest!
I feel like I've been to Wales, Scotland and the Alps as well as the pennines today!
Now time for some much needed slezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Great day out - cheers for taking the trouble to organise it G&H.
Got me hankering after another Scooby to be honest - perhaps after I've moved house. The Clio is a good laugh, but you need to put in twice the effort to keep up a similar pace.

Great run as always Piccies can be found here of the starting point, though i forgot to take some on route for some strange reason .. never mind Andy my passenger and camera man had a fine time trying to keep hold of the camcorder, i think we've got more footage of the dash and sunvisor than of actual tarmac!!
Cheers Craft, see you all at the next one

Cheers Jim n Stu for the run back, and the driver of that gold lexus that made enough space for us!
Great day out in all.
