UK MY99 Blue
I live in Selly Oak and regularly encounter other Scoobs on the way to work A38/M42. Theres a green one on the 'School Run' that comes the other way, with Mum at the wheel and kids in the back all flashing and waving like nutters!!! Also seen an RB5 a couple of times, plus Sti UK jousting in the traffic, all wave. Can't recall seeing any imports yet.

I spent two years driving a modded 200sx without a single wave from another 200 
Test driving a Scooby in Romsey and got flashed and waved at within ten minutes
Both me and Mrs_the_B almost fell off the road!!
We wave at all Subaru's with most of them waving back, some even flashing :O

Ahhh! ScoobySi, after all that, what do I see when driving home on M42 yesterday just after my previous post - A green Impreza reg. W555WRX. I saw it late and flashed but nothing from him - he would have seen me first - was it you? Someone must know who it was with a reg like that!

And again today, another one almost in the same place on the way home, a silver one with a shortish bloke in his 40's at the wheel (LOL sorry, like one of a 1,000,000 odd) this guy flashed his hazards as he steamed past - but this is just way too coincidental are you guys hiding near my office waiting for me to leave?

One the way to work this morning me and a guy in a red Lancia intergrale gave each other the fumbs up 
We both had stupid grins on our faces at a set of lights... Both drove off sensibly though.

The more "enthusiastic" scooby owners generally get the imports coz they is faster, tiz why the insurance is more (amongst other things)

So, as a general (sweeping statement time ) rule, the majority of imports are enthusiasts, whereas a few UK drivers are businessmen with no interest in the cars. There are some in Stafforshire!!!!

MY02 non-modded Bugeye UK owner (except smoked indicators and carbon reflectors), not a company car (struggle to pay the HP every month ), wave @ every scoob, turbo or not. Generally find most people wave back, except the farmers in the 5 door sports . Don't tar all of us UK bugeye drivers with the same brush, its like saying that all classic owners with modded up cars are boy-racers ..
