Just read this thread through for the first time. Couldn't help being reminded of the business card scene in America Psyco where Bateman ends up killing his friend because his card is a better shade of white than his own hitherto most highly regarded "bone."
Glad to see eighties label chic materialism is alive and well - I whole heartedly approve.

Don't be offended, I'll just get my Valentino jacket.
Ooops, sorry about the thumbs down, clicked the wrong one - honest!

I like My Casio Twincept, my Animal Pro and my Omega Seamaster Professional... but the Omega is the only one with a dive pressure equalisation valve... so I really couldn't do without it!

Bloody hell -from the looks of it there are plenty of decent watch/scooby fanciers out there - I thought I was the only one.....
Have been into watches for eons but seems to have settled for Breitling Chrono (mid size)for work (classy -just a little bit obscure rather than the obvious Rolex/Tag etc -plus I like the massive selection of leather/shark/croc straps!) and Citizen Promaster for play (titanium with Kevlar strap)
In the end, as always -personal taste
By the way, Ive never needed a service in 4 years and it keeps perfect time, even for an
automatic....(the former that is)
Cheers CT

Mr. Cookie -- not so easy if you order via the Internet. Like so many things, watches appear to follow the £1=$1 rule, which makes them much cheaper in the States, but you have to add on shipping, VAT, import duty.
Anyone got a Breitling Cosmonaut? Nor have I, but I want one.

Well done to whoever revived this, I'm off ski-ing next week and you can ski to the tax free Swiss resort of Sanmunn or something like that, so I was thinking of a new watch since I burst my Sector.
Anyway anyone came across the make Glashuette, it comes from formmer East Germany(Dresden) and I quite like it because its the same or similar same to my village, a bit sad I know. I checked out the watchesplanet page but no reference, anyone seen or had one of these ?
