The Arab civilisation failed due to being overconfident and complacent after being the only super power at that time. This is not a dig at them. This is the same with the others like China (which incidently had dynasties whilst the West were still living in caves), Egypt (not an Arab), Rome, Greece, Mayans, Aztechs....need I say more? Hell even Atlantis! Currently the Western world is at a turning point, will they end up like so many of the fallen civilisation? They may still have a hundred years at the most.
The arabs gave us Algebra (Al Jabr) and Chemistry (Al-Kimia). For those with the very basic concept of math, algebra is the very basis of mathematics. Without it modern civilisation would not have began. As for chemistry, well look around you now and tell me what you think.

In some countries the word Paki is acceptable as an abbriviation (like Aussie or brit). The reason why its considered a bad word here is not the word itself but the way that its being said. Just like when someone says ***** to me I don't mind it if its from a different context (like a chip in an object). But when someone says it in a bad way to me.....well some of the posters here might recall what happened to them, especially when my property was involved.

I state again, what charities do I see Islam give to? Do they help the Blind? raise money for cancer research? donate money to the RSPCA or NSPCC? Nope. They only look after themselves.

The blood service has great trouble getting donations suitable for use with our middle eastern community, percentage population terms, they basically don't donate. Familys of those that need it then kick up hell when finding some is hard as well, also the community that requests blood from the same race the most not wanting the westerner infedals blood....
