Why??? I was overclocking a while back with Celeron's ect but that was when CPU's could only just power the latest games.
These days even a moderate CPU can run just about anything and CPU's are getting faster every day.
You've probably spent allot of cash on that stuff to OC your CPU to 3.5ghz but the CPU's will probably be that sort of speed in a few months anyway and cheaper than what you've spent.
I remember when you could buy water cooled 1ghz systems for stupid money, the only problem is it really wasn't that long ago .
Overclocking is like a drug and its hard to stop, I know ive probably got 10 heat sink/fans sitting doing nothing as well as 3 or 4 Durons and Athlons of various speeds (all with their jumpers close) but as soon as I went over 2ghz I stopped, it was costing a fortune.
Anyway enough of my rantings its probably me getting old enjoy Quake 3 at 500fps while you can

Think you'll find intel only have the 3.20 due out this year .
Prescott will be 3.6Ghz but all depends when and if they released it on time

A vapochill cannot hold a candle tho the Prometeia in raw performance terms. The vapochill is better aesthetically but the technical design is poor and very innefficient.
That card was a Leadtek Ti4600. Had it since last april/may. Old Benchmarks. was pushing 15,5xx on her before I sold the mobo, cpu and VGA on a few weeks ago.

Nick

Contacting chipcon.
it run fine with the heatsink, inserting of the gasket + microfreezer, absolutly lifeless the processor. At 1st i suspected possible dead cpu, but im on it now running fine with a heat sink.
See whats the next step regards the promie, all it needs it one faulty part and it wont work. When i inspected the cpu i looked for moisture and condensation, found none

lol well All running by tomorrow now finally picking it up at 5PM.
I got a very knowledge friend to check the whole system.
after checking all the eletrical inputs/out puts. Finally came to the conclusion that the ATX Power Conditioner is ****ed!
I contacted chip-con and confirmed what we had described. They have fully offerd me a refund or replacement. To get around the temperature running off the scale we simply powerup the conpressor and hold reset till temperatures start to decrease holding the pc in the reset loop. Since its going to be a 24/7 pc starting up isnt going to occur to often.
Gonna run it in running 166FSB speed tomorrow and 1.75V then setup DDR timing. Est. results by monday as going to run it in by using cpu tests.
The board's fastest single cpu pc
Till g/b beats me

Hit 3468 1st time.
Still needs stress testing and better preparation of the press head. Sits idle between -22 - -20. but -6 - -5 when full load.
Ideally wants to add -10 to both my readings but not going to do this for a week or so as i need to catch up on a back log of work.
