Sorry Simon, I forgot to reply to you. I don't know what time you get home, but give me a call when you get back.

Rum,

I've just got to convince Milly that buying a house in the next 12 months is a bad idea, but buying an '03 STi+PPP is a great idea!

Shame we didn't get round to a photo shoot on Sunday, would have liked to see how my tints come out on film!

BTW, send me some cards - you know what I mean!

Curry & booze?!?!? And then you drove your new car?!?!?!?!

Tom - The drive was a little on the quiet side, but at least I can say I have been in an STi 8 with a PPP!

Still saying that you could feel the car pulling at low revs... very nice.

Alex - About the house... snowball and hell spring to mind! Nice tints BTW, I saw them during the day (while you were still asleep).

Rob, Ignore Tom, he'll end up costing you money. You really don't want to try one as you will want one...

I am starting to think that he's on commission.

Cheers,
Nick.

As we've just sold our house, and I've just got the STi, my darling wife is telling people we're having to sell the house to pay for the car!

Rum, Good to meet you at last and as for the car ditto the above, haven't seen any of the neighbours yet to get there reaction, but I think I know what it will be

If your still up for diving in the UK I let you know then next time I'm up at Stony Cove about junction 20 M1. we can meet up.

As for Alex that's the worst I'v seen him in 5 years, even talking about staying off the drink for a mouth, didn't say which month though

sammyh, I believe so as Rum's got it fitted to his. I *think* (and I hope I'm not talking out of turn here) that it's a remap using Ecutek rather than the piggyback chip, plus a few other bits.
Cheers,
Nick.

Dr 'My liver hurts',

She has indeed got a good sense of humour, well she married me

I'm not sure how many people have believed her, but very few have made any further comments about the car (probably too scared).
I think it was about the first thing she said to Tom when we got home on Sunday, and she hasn't stopped since.

Mind you, if business doesn't pick up a bit, and her contract isn't renewed, she might not far far off the mark.

Josh, been there done that! I got the list of plots, sorted the money, temp accomodation and a whole load of other stuff. I then found out that the bidding system was a farce (it's who you know....) and the guide prices are waaaaayyyyyy off the actual price, and that's IF you are successful. Good luck, you'll need it.

Get into the 'but to rent' instead, there's still money to be made.

Who said we were going to buy anything from those sharks at English Partnership.

You're right though, their system is a complete joke, and is geared sole towards the speculator or developer. The seem to have forgotten the principles of self build.
