Any suggestions on how to remove spoiler?

Alcazar - I got some fishing cord (green in colour in case anybody need some ) I did try the nylon stuff, but it snapped. I then used a sawing motion and it went through very easily, mind you, I was told to use heavy gloves with this stuff, apparently it can cut your fingers off! I was then left with the black stuff that you see in the post above. I used a scalpel blade to get as close to the paintwork as possible, then used some liquid that I got from B&Q, can't remember what it's called at the moment, one clean boot. I then nearlt knocked myself out, much to the amusement of my husband, because the boot just flips up when there is no spoiler attached!
New spoiler was then fixed in place, I hope I never have to remove this one!
