i hit a kerb this time last year.. but was lucky - was a glancing blow on a sloped kerb, just the tyre got it - slow round a wee roundabout and front end slide away with the slope of the road...
that compacted ice/snow is always fun on wide summer tyres

with the new gold oz on the car this year, makes me nervous every time i go out in the snow... dont want to kerb those

I'll try and get some pictures nearer the weekend but I don't think the rear alloy can be salvaged. Its got a big dent/chunk knocked in!

Seems that its just the alloys and tracking <phew>

On that basis I'm looking to replace two of the MY99 alloys and have emailed some peeps all ready. I'd potentially consider a set of MY00's or maybe bigger alloys with rubbers.
