Do you own one then Justin? Sorry if I have offended, but it seems to be the only kind of jacket the worst boy-racers seem to wear, and that has rather put me off them. Just a tad.

I hate it when this happens, Sitting in a quiet office and I can't help but burst out laughing
Thanks folks brightened up a miserable day.
Paul Wouldn't one of those half million candle power lamps be better, There is a scooby discount for them as well. Got mine well before the discount site appeared, useful as I have std lighting on my scoob, just gaffer tape it to my head and away I go, whoops off thread.
Cheers

Whilst it's easy to get angry nowadays with these people on the roads, forecourts, etc, it isn't very smart to take them on:
1. If these guys make a habit of causing aggro, they're likely to be better at it than you.
2. A single knife wielding assailant has quite an advantage over an unarmed person. The multi cell maglites may be great deterrants, but are slow to swing in comparison with a blade. Try a self defence class, and see how hard it is to evade someone with a (plastic) knife.
3. These guys don't travel alone. See 2. above and multiply the danger by the number of people. Van Damme may be able to take on multiple celluloid villains, but unless you are Superman, or more heavily armed than your attacker(s), don't bother.
4. The emergency services will not get to you in time if you sustain major trauma to an artery (aortic, renal, hepatic, whatever).
5. You never know what the other guy is carrying. Round London, a friend of mine was cut up by someone in a Merc (in his GT4), he got out of the car at the next lights, ready to punch the driver's lights out; the driver produced a handgun. Real or not, do you want to risk it ?
It's a sad fact that the UK is following US crime patterns, trailing them by 5-10 years in their methods. Not long before some nutter produces a 12 gauge and uses it at some garage forecourt.
Be careful.....
