"Delirium Tremens brewed by Huyghe is fantastic, has pink elephants on the bottle." What's in this stuff as I'd only had one bottle and definately felt wierd / disorientated the next day - "does what it says on the tin" ![Wink](images/smilies/wink.gif)

Hoegaarden - has to be, every time ![Smile](images/smilies/smile.gif)
Anyone tried the strong Belgium beers - such as Quack, Bush etc. They serev them in some Belgium restaurant in Bromley, and deliver them in big glass vases with there own wooden stands. Usually about 10% strength

I'm with V5 on this one - there are few things in life better than Czech beer, Budvar is one of my favorites. @Course it was better to be in prague and pay 20p a pint... Plus you don't have to keep going up to the bar and asking for more, they just keep on bringing in until you leave.

Budvar & Staropramen,
even done the brewery tour !!!!!!!!!!
Great country , great beer , might go back again this year
"Oh dear, oh dear! Not one mention of Budvar? The Original Czech Budweiser, that is, not the p!ss-weak Yank cr@p! <Shakes head> Nor even Staropramen."

Banks beer, brewed in Barbados (reason for fond memory might have had something to do with drinking a few glasses while watching semi naked supermodels frolicking on the beach
)

I love San Miguel
I've seen it on tap in a few pubs too.
Carling Premier goes down too quickly but I can't seem to find it these days on tap. Best canned lager thats readily available is Heniken and Garlsberg Export
IMO

Charlie/Jase - you're right, Prague is fab. Took my wife there for her birthday last year and had a wonderful time. This year I'm taking her to Boston, so don't see that the beer drinking will be a near religious experience this time!

Neil - don't get me wrong, I'll give 'em all a try!
I seem to remember the Sam Adams being ok. Was a few years ago, mind.
I just always remember a joke from Python(live at the Hollywood Bowl, I think):
What do American beer and sex in a canoe have in common?
They're both f#cking close to water!

StellaVision .£2.00 a pint at my local. Wonderfully clean pipes etc.
But if you're in Holland 'White Tap' goes down a treat..
Got me into a lot of trouble that stuff. I divulge no more...
