Still don't know for sure if it will fit the turbo power steering pump.

It "looks" like it will be suitable from the picture, but cant be sure what is underneath the flange or if the bolts are still offset.

There deos'nt seem to be any in the country at the moment according to a couple of dealers, so it comes down to ordering one in from Japan which can take up to 8 weeks, or if Japan has one could be a 10-14 day V.O.R order delivery.

Will let you know when it arrives

Does anyone know what induction pipe jonny gav is using?? Just that it looks like it is a pre bought one which takes advantage of the extra space gained when the p/s tank is relocated.

Looks like an MRT MY01+ one. Don't forget the New Age cars have the relocated reservoir as standard, so any induction pipe designed for these cars should have the more open bend in it.

Why not ask Jonny Gav himself rather than postulate ? You have his profile and he is a very helpful guy and open with all his knowledge. If you read through the thread carefully all the knowledge you need for this mod is explained.

Can confirm the power steering adapter is a direct fit to an MY98 turbo power steering pump.(think all the classics have the same power steering pump?)
Works very well, no noises, and no modifications to fit.

Part number : 34431FE010 £17.75 +VAT

Nice one Stevie

Power Steering Reservior mounting bracket

34633AE000 £5.16 + VAT

I've just replaced the Astra PS reservoir with the genuine Subaru power steering reservior (34630AE001) and can confirm that it all works like original equipment (no pump noises even from cold start in the morning)
