Well mines a V5 and is 5 speed not sure about the V6???

Best place I found for insurance was Direct Line. I am 24 and because I was insured with them last year they renewed my policy but if you are a new customer then you now have to be 25 or older!! all other places either wouldn't insure Jap import or had to be 25 or were £300 - £600 more

STIscooby, I am guessing that you work for a Computer supplier in Claydon? If you do, then I work for one of your customers, and you may have seen me @ your place of business before?? I drive a Silver UK MY98

John (Felstead) will disagree with me on this , but the ONLY thing I would change on my (non V limited) R is the 5th Gear. But then Johns car is for fun actually at the 'ring', not the journey there!

Good fun cars, especially with uprated power, brakes and suspension.

Yeah, but V rare at the moment and are they compatable with the variable diff?

If so, Im sure we will see more of them in classic shape cars, in much the same way 5 speed boxes found their way into RWD escorts in the late 80's. That took a couple of years for supplies to filter down.

All type r's, v-ltd or not should have rear glass tints..

You get all the Uk stuff (except h'light washers) and the added bonus of proper full auto climate control and yea, the whizzy mirrors..

For every hundred 4 door cars you will only see a couple of 2 doors.
And you will see even fewer TypeRA's

A few things you get on an STi5 TypeRA, you dont get on the TypeR, are

1) Quickrack
2) Front LSD
3) Roof vent
4) Lightweight body and glass
5) Uprated Spring and Inverted strut damping rates
6) 4 doors
