Why?

Why is MarkO trying to spoil my fantasy?
Why do so many Evo drivers post on a Subaru bulletin board? (Maybe it's their fantasy to be an Impreza owner?)
Why does the family across the road have 6 cars and think it's OK to use my parking space?
Why don't dustmen collect your bins from your front gardens anymore?
Why do dustmen still expect a tip at Christmas?

Why does everyone on here insist on making sweeping generalisations.
Not every bloke on here fawns round Penny - it's just those that do do it a lot.

Tiggers

Why do the same drivers that tootle along at 40 in a 60 limit then drive straight into a 30 limit at the same speed
!
Why do Sierra/Mondeo/Vectra drivers charge up the outside of queues on Motorways?
Why do we have queues on Motorways?
Why doesn't everyone stay in lane until the last minute then merge in turn (Noticed that the A38 at Burton has signs to that effect but people still ignore them)?
Why do Sierra/Mondeo/Vectra drivers get so upset when I hold up the outside lane queue in my great big white van?![](http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif)

Penni,
Why do you think I am angry at you? All I said was that not all of us blokes fawn around you. That doesn't mean I don't like you - at the end of the day I don't know you or anyone else on this BBS for that matter so I am not able to form a valid opinion even if I wanted to.
May be if I knew a little more about you then I too would become hynotised by your persona, but who knows?
In truth I would have thought that despite the fact that sometimes it's good for your ego you would have by now got fed up with some of the comments directed towards you on here. I know most are light hearted, but you know what I mean.
Anyway I'll sign off now - my apologies if I upset you and I will from now on spell your name correctly.
Regards,
Tiggers

Thanks for your reply and no need to apologise I am not upset. But I was just a little bemused by your comment... at the end of the day - the thread was just a bit of fun.
Also Tiggers you have to understand that the guys that take the pot shots at me are people I have met several times and communicate off line with as well...
I would soon let people know if they have gone too far...
I hope I do get a chance to meet you some day.
Penni

Why doesn't Neil Smalley go out very often? ![](http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif)
Why is it called a limited slip differential when it makes you slide more?
Why don't I pass anything on the 10 mile dual carriageway to work, then immediately get stuck behind a truck when it narrows to a single lane?

I do. My Father in law told me this morning, as a bit of a francophile(Likes France) he knows this kind of thing. Anyway one for the pub quiz.
Why is it called a limited slip differential when it makes you slide more?
Because it restricts the amount of sliding you do. Hence Limited Slip differential

It's part of new government policy on congestion. In the winter time the government send out fleets of drivers who can't drive in the wet and in the summer they send out fleets of tractors and caravans. To fill in the gaps they ensure that all HGV's are required to live out the movie 'convoy' and to restrict the speed they can go to within 0.001Mph of each other.
