Why the hell havnt I seen this thread b4 now?
Why did I let my wife drive my car after I Zymoled it the other day?
Why did it have to rain on that day?
Why did she have to drive behing a lorry on a dirty country road?
Why do bloks leave the toilet seat up? ( because we want to)
Why dont I shut up?

NickF: So the BBS (and the Scoob world in general) isn't exactly teeming with women. But is it really necessary for all you chaps out there to instantly start fawning and panting around the one or two girls on here (particularly as most Scoob-driving girls I know are married!)? It only reinforces the usual stereotypes of men, computers and cars.
Imagine what it looks like to any prospective female members who come across the site? Not only will they feel intimidated by the sheer number of male members (in all senses of the word - Phill Rick, that means you ) but almost every topic is littered with sad flirting which isn't even witty or subtle?
Penni seems to cope with/handle (encourage? ) it okay, but others wouldn't.
Surely the phrase should be "any person who owns/drives a 200+bhp car is cool in my book"???

which leads to:
why do the scoobies in the us come stock w/165 bhp?
and my Legacy is BLACK... so....

Why can't some of you see the lighter side of life??
It was meant to be a lighthearted post to a lighthearted thread based on previous banter and postings.
I'm sure Penni saw the funny side of it, even if others didn't.
And no, the phrase shouldn't have been any PERSON who drives a car with 200+ BHP. You got the wrong end of the stick all together. There are way to many testosterone charged to$$ers out there with more money than ability to handle 200+BHP. Its a simple fact of life that more men than women drive cars such as the Scoob.
Women can be discouraged from participating in the likes of this BBS because of the whole perceived male my **** is bigger than yours domain of the cars/tuning/videogames/etc/etc thing and personally I think its really cool when people like Penni and Subiegal (sorry if spellings out) play such an active part.
I have a great respect for ANYONE who can handle powerful cars and especially women who fly in the face of the bad attitude of many so called men towards them as a result of the apparent male domination of the whole high performance vehicle thing.
Rant over.

Why do peanuts seem to multiply in the dark crevices of my sofa when I've not had any for years ??
Why do I have to buy new socks each week to replace those consumed by the sock monster that lives in my airing cupboard ??
Why did it take the Abbey national over a year to change my address of my bank account despite writing to them 20 times and having a mortgae and insurance with them at my new address ??
