Imagine walking upto that car you've always dreamed off...You've got the keys...She's got a full tank of petrol and she's just been waxed...Sounds good yeah? Now imagine some **** snatching the keys off you just as you get to the door, knocking you over them getting in and driving away, grit searing across your face from the rear wheels .
Thats whats just happened to you.
BTW. Congrats

hopefully that crack about her being 15 was a joke...
you and she need to sit down and do some serious talking... despite what your parents will say... this is between you and her and the sooner you start talking the quicker you will get a solution... your dad won't kick you out... but you need to show him that you are taking full responsibility for your actions... if you need someone to talk to then speak to your doctor who can probably put you in touch with an agency or some other group that deal with young people in your predicament..
Good luck
P

Can't believe how damn unsympathetic some people on this bbs are. I think we should be a bit more helpful
. How about we come up with some good ideas for a name? Let's face it, if the deed had taken place in the back of a metro, there would have been no chance of conception...

Well you've been together for 3 years, so your relationship should be stable enough for a kid.
I'm afraid the only sure-fire method of contraception is abstinence.![Big Grin](images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Good luck

Congrats
(seriously)
I daresay your parents might be shocked, but eventually they might be happy for you. I would hope that they wouldn't kick you out for this!
You're going to have to face some difficult decisions over the coming weeks. I don't think the BBS is the best place to get advice, as we don't know anything about your situation. You need to be open and honest with everyone, and see where it gets you.
Whatever you both do, good luck.

Hanley...thats not fair.
The poor girl obviously didn't know what to do for the best, and she evidently needed to get her head around it herself.
Sit down and talk but most of all give her support.
I hope it all goes well for you both!

Ciaran, it doesn't matter if it's a boy or a girl.
It really, really doesn't matter. Get out of that mind-set mate, before you set yourself up for a "disappointment" if it's a girl...

I shudder when I see these fifty and sixty-somethings with their teenage kids -- f**k that for a caper. By the time I get to that age I want the kids to be long gone

I was a very young mum, and my oldest is now at work.It is hard work but that is just being a parent whatever the age.
Look after your young lady and enjoy every aspect of your childs development, the years whizz by and before you know it they are leaving home (we are still waiting for that bit!)LOL

I'm 36 , wife's 31 and my kids are 9 and 10. I reckon it's great having them young. We can all enjoy alot of the same things now they are older and largely they don't seem to be embarrassed by us (unless I deliberatly embarrass them)
Not sure how old you are though CBR.
I agree though bulletin board isn't the place to sort it out.
All the best and if you decide to have it you'll thoroughly enjoy it.

Advantage of having them young, you are not used to the cash, if you have them later the piles of disposable income that turn into nappies, childcare etc hurts each month ![Frown](images/smilies/frown.gif)
Congrats, worse things could have happened.
Stick to the rusty bullet hole in future![Wink](images/smilies/wink.gif)
