4 bars of fuel pressure is quite a lot! This means that it should run over 5 bars when on boost. I am sure the standard fuel pump doesn´t deliver that. (Some older pumps already have problems delivering the standard fuel pressure!)
I would not use more than 3.6 bar and only with uprated fuel pump.
P.S. Only an uprated pump could help also to bring the duty cycle down if the standard pump can´t hold the pressure. (Arend, you have to come to me though to change the mapping!)
Mark.

They will not fit as standard.
The 550 pink injectors are top feed injectors, the MY99 Impreza uses side feed injectors.
You might be able to make them fit by getting matching fuel rails, but I really do not know for sure.

I am not the Guru.
Pick you desired power target, select the injectors. If you want to uprate in future, then get some with headroom for further power increases.
Really I would recommend 550s to anyone that is looking for over 320hp. If you can afford to get them now, do so. But you will need to get mapped with your injectors of choice or it's a waste of time the first time round.

Just a little note to anyone with an 03 car, the SR20 DET style injectors do NOT fit into the fuel rails of the MY03, they would require some serious modifications at the top. I found out the hard way.

Edited because I missed the NOT out!

Pavlo, i dont know the model, but the seller say me :
====> 540cc/min SIDE FEED HIGH IMPEDANCE INJECTORS FOR SR20 VG30 EJ20 ENGINES
You are looking at a injector for SR20 EJ20 and VG30DETT..etc engines. This is for set of 4, so you can use it for VG series or other side feed engines. The unit may come in Yellow or the new Blue colour UJ uses, but the units are the exactly the same inside.
These injectors are new units from Unisia Jecs (UJ) and the brand new model with new "Ultra Atomization Technology" which makes your droplets of fuel much more small and efficiently burn, thus giving you better fuel economy compared to other injectors. It has 12 small holes instead of 1 or 2 in older models.
These injectors will let your engine idle very smoothly unlike those older high volume models.
If you are looking for the goods from both world, you got it. These injectors are not released to the US market, yet. (expected next year)
I have other pics :
Pavlo do you think, i will need adaptators ?
Thanks again.

Mmmm!! Would welcome suggestions on what injectors to use on my new engine when I get round to actually joining all the bits together rather than having them sitting around!
Engine: US 2.5 STi Block, MY95 WRX headers, phase 1 fuel rail, uprated 500bhp Sytec fuel pump, sytec fuel pressure regulator and gauge.
ECU: LINK
Breathing: Mongoose Full de-cat, helix ceramic coated headers, helix flexible up-pipe, K&N 57i Induction Kit.
Turbo: TD05 - may upgrade to TD05/06 front entry, Hybrid FMIC
Particularly interested in pros and cons of fitting 740's or 850's.

Right....call me thick, but just to clarify.......
To fit my 1998 UK Impreza and go for about 300bhp, I will need yellow side feed injectors?
Will yellow Sti V4 injectors fit straight on and what about setting up? Can I just change the injectors and drive the car, or do I need to do other work first (ie Power Engineering Phase 1/2)
Cheers,
Marty

Highlander - i would probably look at 550s as your not going to get more than 450bhp from the TD05/06
John uses 740s i think
Not sure if 850s would be to much?
Changing injectors - you need a remap. 98Uk injectors would be 380s arent they? And if so, people have had 320bhp (on wrx) out of their 380s so dont think you will need to change injectors?
