Just got mine this morning, absolutely fantastic!
No time to type really as Im off back out but this is the best car Ive ever driven full stop. Even up to 4000 RPM you can feel the power delivery is smooth as you like - and theres so much more waiting to be used in the coming months...

I had to pick my STI up 2 weeks ago as im nearly 9 months pregnant i wanted to get a chance to drive it before the event. Its the best car i have ever owned plus going to the rally in it was really cool. With the rev limiter set at 4000 rpm you can still enjoy the drive cant wait to get to 1000 though ive only managed 400 so far due to my condition hope you all enjoy your 03"s.Also do you all ever have any meetings like the ford rs owners club does

Well I didn't pick one up today, but I did sign on the dotted line at Marlborough in Isleworth for a black STi due in early April... I have a silly grin just thinking about it. PPP to follow

Got my STi8 this afternoon. Tank was right on empty, not enough to get home, miserable buggers. Filled it up with Optimax and went for a pootle. That boxer engine sounds fantastic.....a huge change from the Ariston motor I had whining behind my ear in the Elise, and it's only 200cc bigger. Must be something to do with being horizontally opposed or some such techno-magic. Kids are quiet....wife hasn't found me yet....out for another pootle I think.

Got my first Scooby today (Black WRX) from Quenby's today at 11am.
First impressions (previous car, MR2):
1) WOW, this is going to be a smiles machine!
2) Great Power from 2,750 (or thereabouts) up to running in period 4,000 limit
3) Quieter than imagined would be (guess it gets louder as the revs get piled on)
4) Seem to have a bit of bonnet 'wobble' from 60mph+ with head wind (is this normal?)
5) Interior much better then I remembered from NEC show
6) Stereo/speakers sound better than I was worried about (from all the ICE posts saying how crap standard kit is)
7) Small stone chip on the bonnet already (only 40 miles covered) :-(
8) More 'refined' than I could ever imagine.
9) Great startup soundtrack/body movement
10) Great feeling of road prescence/bulk/grip
Can't wait to get the running in period out of the way and get a chance to really drive it.
Absolutely knackered from lack of sleep, already looking forward to tomorrow.
