Ron - I did.
And I'm planning to respond in some detail. Just haven't had chance yet ![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)
Is that the place your selling? Or the 'old' place?

ROn, thats lovely, however it reminds me of my old boss, the thatch over the front door looks a bit like his dodgy tache and he had big square specs.
Good look with selling it tho.

Bit of green-eye going on here then. Why is it that some people can't stand it when others have more money than them? And a good education? And maybe even want to do the best they can for their kids? ![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)
Anyway, the programme said that the guy was MD of an engineering company, so presumably he makes a reasonable income. I suppose you lot live in paper bags in middle o' t'road. And proud of it too no doubt.

Agreed, some very jealous comments earlier in the thread.
Seemed like really decent people to me.
Good luck to them. Once again the attitude in this country is...... jealousy re.anyone who has done well in life. F%cking sad.

Mid-20's and MD of an engineering company. Hmmmm...
Then he seemed totally bemused by the work/planning required on moving possibly a load bearing wall.
Doesn't sound much of an engineer to me. [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img]
"Does baby-boy want daddy-waddy to give him a company for his birthday-wirhday?"![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)
I'm sorry - I think they were nice enough peeps, but to waste that much money on a place in Bath, when they have such a lovely home already? In the age of the t'internet ( (c)Peter Kay
) she can do her freelance work at home, digitise it and send it with aplomb! "whatever one of those is, yah... *smashing*"

Jeez look at all the envy here ![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)
The guy is an MD of a company, and she's a freelance something or other.
Congratulations to them for doing well for themselves, it's a shame a good education and slightly posh accent is such a crime on SN - still I don't expect they loose too much sleep over it.
Such a shame they want to enjoy 2 properties
and how is selling her flat in London and buying a Georgian flat in Bath a waste of money ffs?
Oh, and there's nothing wrong with MX5's and if I was commuting from Bath to Poole a BMW would be near the top of my list too, ideal cars for the job.
And Unclebuck - typical 'Bath Types'? they didn't look like sponging, smelly, workshy students to me![Wink](images/smilies/wink.gif)
