I don't have enough aesthetic ability to comment on the angles, lines etc of this car. But I do feel that Subaru desperately needs a fairly short coupé or hatch to keep with the market segment that is Golfs, Focus, Audi A3, Leon Cupra etc. A slightly smaller car than the Impreza, a bit more chuckable in urban as well as rural situations. Given the Subaru line in mechanicals, 4wd with a low C of G and the boxer engine would go down an absolute storm. I think someone said on a different thread, put the scoob drivetrain in a Focus or Golf and you have an absolute dream car. Release this (kind of) shape, not too heavy please!, priced at 19k with the current drivetrain, 23k with the STI drivetrain, and as much as you feel like with 400bhp capabilities, and it will be a stormer. The competition will crap themselves.
EDIT 1: Please can you spray it with undiluted paint this time?
EDIT 2: If our suggestions get taken into account, do we get a discount?

The side view looks amazing, nice clean lines and wheels that fill the arches, very nice job. Sadly though the front is terrible just too much grill space and it doesnt get any better at the back. The rear bumper is too big and the rear lights are too far way from the ground to be a low slung coupe. Just looks like an over done bodykit. If they looked at soemthign like an Esprit turbo and softened the front and rear ends lower rather than stopping flat it may improve things and reduce the drag.

Interesting idea - a break from the usual... now other companies are associated with Subaru/FHI (didn't somebody buy into their awd system) it will get built on a common platform.
I agree - nose is a bit messy.
Maybe an N/A 3.0 flat six la a svx (and didn't the newer legacy have the 2nd generation flat 6 too)
An then a more extreme 3.0 flat six with a turbo for that extra kick in the butt
It would maybe need to have a different sound mind...flat four warble may not suite (maybe more porka sounding ??? )
Ian.

The word FUGLY comes to mind - if you know what I mean !!
The bug eyes look like a Toyota Corrola and this new beast resembles one of the new Nissam Primera things !!!!
Has Subaru not learned from it ugly (and costly) mistakes of the past!
