Thumbs up

should be the car coming to my garage soon
been quoted 7500 for my99 5 door as trade on a PPP MY03 wagon and 13000 for the difference.
Test drove the 4 door and was very impressed dare i say it had comfortable road manners much better brakes(than mine)and a much sharper turn in better stereo and climate control as standard.
Beet thing was that the misses is much happier with it
dont get me wrong she loves ragging my classic 5 door but with a nipper in tow and after a very uncomfortable 2 week tour of Ireland a more comfortable ride was very important

Should have bought 5 months ago with fixed exchange rate

Car inc. alarm, delivery, Road Tax Registration and Metallic paint (esp since before December, 03 prices were fixed at 02 prices) = £16706
Add on 3 years of AA = £300 quid

= £17006

Now that's a lot of car for the money

(PS Just one week left to go...)

I took delivery of my UK Dealership, UK WRX MY03 on the 1st March @ £ 19071.45 including Met paint, Delivery & VAT.

Great improvement on the bugeye version.

Not a bad price me thinks, anybody looking for similar deal, I'll put you in touch...

Unhappy

Gutted mine's going to arrive after this weekend - am going to Carlisle. The 650mile round trip would have done most of the breaking in period...

Chiark - you've made me a very happy man because I have about a week to go before I pick up my silver MY03 5-door!!!! And your mini review has just confirmed my hopes for it.

Now I really can't wait

I'm getting the sills colour-coded before picking up, also considering getting colour-coded side-strips to protect the doors from those carpark dings. Has anyone had them or seen them? I'm not sure if they will look naff or not.

blip, I ordered them but they didn't arrive in time... They're being fitted at the first service. Don't really care what they look like, as they do work to stop careless gits from utterly hammering the doors in.

Colour coding. Hmm. I think I'll ask for a price

Can't wait. Just 1 year left on my lease then I'm off with an MY04. Mrs P wanted a Forrester so we have compromised and will go from a saloon to a wagon.

Personally reckon the new shape wagon looks better than the saloon.
