DBW in posting outside the hutch shocker!!
Just wanted to say thanks to Salsa King for the whole shindig and to say that I will never ever set foot (wheel) in Nottingham ever again! How **** are the authorities with all their speed cameras??? I was a nervous wreck by the time I found the motorway!!
Was a great weekend though - thanks!

hey all
Cheers to Phil and everyone for a great night/weekend. Really had a great time.
My only regret was did get a chance to see the salsa-king himself at work on the dance floor due too having to look after julie while she was sick for a good few hours (Till 11 the nxt morning in fact)
Tony (or as others on the nite prefered...Ali G)

Thanks you lot for the prodrive day!!!
NOW...
Scooby Ball 3
What did everyone think to the Venue this time!!
I know it was too hot!!!
BUT
spoke with Justine at the Hotel, she had heard how well it all went!
We could go there again and have the BETTER room (the one i wanted in the first place)
it has Air Conditioning... and a proper Bar in the same room.
what you think????????????????

Phil & Amanda,
Thanks for organizing a great occasion. It aint easy to make these thinks happen, but you succeeded. Enjoy the day at Prodrive ( I may try to organize one of these in M.K, if thats what you get!!). Next time 'ave a word with the management & get them to turn down the bloody heating, and Trouser may have more people dancing to his quality tunes!! Mousse & I did try but the heat was too much.
Good to meet a few people whose names i've known for ages but never actually met.
Shame that everyone wasn't so much fun, and not wanting to use Scoobynet as a platform for settling scores, I'll tone it down. Lets just say that anyone who buys a ZX9R & has never taken it above 110 m.p.h. (hopefully on a track day!) shouldn't have bought one. May I recommend a 1976 Honda 400/4 which may suit you more, and be within your obviously inept limits. You disappointed me with the MOOOOOOOOOOSE call directed at my damn near aesthetically perfect partner "Mousse". You know who "you" are. And you are very fortunate that she didn't hear it.
Rant off.
Thanks again Phil & Amanda.

ScoobyBall III nice one Phil and we have hardly needed to prompt you at all this time We couldn't believe that you actually remembered that conversation from a year ago & then quoted it verbatim!!!
When we first got the car and found ScoobyNet, this time last year, we rang Phil to ask for some car stickers. He came round to deliver them personally and ended up staying for an hour and a half, he didn't arrive until 10pm! chatting to some Newbies. If it hadn't been for that Phil, we probably wouldn't have got so involved in the local scene - So another big thank you for that
Hotel etc was spot on (heating excluded) - give us a ring and we will try to help a little more for no.3.
How the hell do we go better than this one though and what gift will we have to organise if the ball is even bigger. We could put a deposit down on your 03 next time if we have more people (and time).
We also have to say a big thank you to everyone who attended, for their generosity, I ended up introducing myself to every new face, followed by "I'm after some money!!!" . I even accosted a couple in the car park, who had turned up for the wedding, because they arrived in a Legacy with a fat exhaust. I thought "they must be with us with a car like that ... oops - lol"
Anyway, not only did we raise enough money for Phil's ProdriveLive day and Amanda's flowers but we also paid for their hotel room So again Thank You!
A themed evening (but not Fancy Dress - thank you!) was suggested to us the next morning, which might not be a bad idea. Maybe also raise some money for a specified charity? Any suggestions?
