bent intercooler fins are an indication of nothing except how crap the orig intercooler fins are.if u stand 5ft away and fart they bend.if u have to remove the intercooler for any reason ie fit a knocklink u will be straightening them for a week

Intercooler fins bent on mine to 
(another minter)
rest a spanner on there & they bend (ask the Techis)
there might be a few flys on the windscreen as well!
(means he's bin flooring it) LOL.

this car is mint and goes like stink if i could get it up the drive and convince the missis it could be used for the school run it would be sat in the garage right now.

My motor has 20k on it and the intercooler is perfect, i didnt say it wasnt a nice example just all the scoobs ive seen with low mileage havent had a mark on the fins.
If the intercooler has took so many hits with such little use whats the front end paintwork like ?

had a look at the fins on mine some of them r a bit bent my02 prehaps coz they r thin and little insect type things tend to head butt them after being eaten by the air intake/ bonnet vent

This is indeed a wonderful example and judging by all the positive comments to back it up i would have thought thid would be gone by now.
Unfortunately i have an STI V6 to sell (Type R) in Northern Ireland at the moment. If she sells in the next few weeks i would be interested in this beauty.
